Long Thai, our company’s founder, has 10 years of bartending experience at the most prestigious bars in the world. Long has worked along Jim Meehan and Jeff Bell at the fame PDT, winner of the first James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program in 2012. In 2013, Jack McGarry contacted Long to be a part of the opening team at The Dead Rabbit. The Dead Rabbit garnered several prestigious bar awards during Long’s tenure. The awards include Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards World’s Best New Cocktail Bar 2013, Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards World’s Best Cocktail Menu 2015, Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards World’s Best Cocktail Bar 2015, and World’s 50 Best Bar - World’s Best Bar 2016. Long’s ability to create amazing cocktails earned him a nomination for 2017’s Star Chefs Rising Star. 

His unique and innovative cocktails are featured in The Dead Rabbit’s book, The Mixology & Mayhem: The Story of John Morrissey and the World’s Best Cocktail Menu, and Paddy Drinks: The World of Modern Irish Whiskey Cocktails. He also has a cocktail published in Drink Pink: A Celebration of Rosé by Victoria James, Director of Beverage at Michelin starred COTE. Long is also a craft beer lover and has been featured on various websites chatting about beer.

Long is an active vlogger on all things related to bars and cocktails on his YouTube Channel Drink With Long.
